Without giving my age away I can now say i’ve been a photographer for the majority of my life. Since the late 80’s I have worked in some of Manchester’s largest studios and collaborated on some amazing projects.
Most of my work is commissioned and has taken me to many locations and into different environments, I am experienced working with people from all walks of life and cultures, handling varied products and dealing with different processes.
I can help with the development of creative concepts that can be translated into effective marketing strategies and plan the execution of a shoot with the experience to foresee any potential pitfalls and costly mistakes.
My personal photography stems from an interest in people and their cultures and I love to explore the everyday lives and tales of different people, observing and recording the profound differences in values and customs amongst different social groups. My character studies are a reflection of building rapport with each subject and delving into their personal lives to understand first the person behind the face and then to portray them photographically as best I can.
