Following an educational career spanning three decades as an arts teacher, Diana Terry is now devoted to exploring her own creativity at her studio in Mossley.
Her inspired and deeply textured paintings effuse an emotional reaction to the landscape around her and consider the narrative between humanity and the environment. She works primarily with oils and combines them with other materials to build rich and vibrant deeply textured paintings.
Diana has had many shows over the years including at the Oldham Art Gallery and Saddleworth Art Gallery and is also a regular contributor to the Oldham Gallery Open Biennial.
Recently one of her paintings was selected to be shown at the prestigious Royal Society of British Artists annual exhibition at The Mall Galleries in London and she is also currently featured at the Saul Hay Gallery in Manchester.
